English indie quartet Holiday Ghosts peddle upbeat garage rock to get their message across. Their new single Big Congratulations may sound joyous, but it deals with the constant need for amassing stuff in order toe keep up appearances. And by the end of the day it is not really worth the trouble getting all stressed out, because materialism does not equal happiness.
It is a track from their forthcoming new album Coat of Arms, due for release on March 29th via FatCat Records (vinyl, digital. The video was made by Ben Nightingale. Recommended if you like Rat Fancy.
