Welsh poppy indie punkers Swansea Sound will release Markin' It Down, their tribute to second hand record stores as limited 7" single. It is a track from their Twentieth Century album.
Hand-stamped, hand-numbered lathe-cut black vinyl. 100 copies pressed. With hand-made discount stickers and a picture postcard. Some copies will be available at Tangled Parrot (Swansea) and Rough Trade (London) on Record Store Day (20th April). The rest will be available here. Only one single per order.Live dates:
Markin' It Down is dedicated to all the people who work in record shops (whether or not they are engaging with Record Store Day). It's a new version of the track that appears on the 'Twentieth Century' album. You can still get the CD of that for £10, so it's probably better value than this release.
