French guitarist and violinist Naïm Amor has released another nugget from his forthcoming new album Stories. Amorsonic is the opening track, a sprinkling duet for two guitarists on which he connects with Ben Nisbet. Thøger Lund (bass) and Casey Hadland (drums) provide a safety net, but also find plenty of spots to make their mark.
Stories will be released on vinyl by Fort Lowell Records (vinyl, digital). The album is available for pre-order here. Release date: July 26th.

Love this, just listened to Freeway Race and Amorsonic so far. The outro to Amorsonic reminds me of something else in the spiritual jazz world, is it Jef Gilson / Malagsy? Definitely lifted from something I've listened to! But that's OK, coz it's great! Will listen to more now!
