Punk meets noise and hardcore on D.C. based quartet Pickaxe's new single Drugs Like Me. Vocalist Emily Rainey spits out the words about a relationship that is not exactly safe, hiding the hurt and self-loathing in a couple of double entendres that will likely be over the heads of the crowd in the moshpit in front of the stage when they perform it live. It is a track from their forthcoming Melpomene EP, due for release on October 30.
Drugs Like Me is a self-released single. Buy it from their website.
