Ellur: God Help Me Now

Leeds based indie singer Ellur tries to come to terms with troubles she ran into in her relationships on her new EP God Help Me Now. Despite refering to an imaginary higher power, she realizes that she to do it herself.

Not repeating the same mistakes is a good idea (Yellow Light). When the best thing about a partner is a pet (Your Dog), it is best to move on. It is OK to be down for a bit (Mourning Song), but self-pity can only be part of the equation fo a limited time.

The four tracks on God Help Me Now are fine examples of soul searching, introspective pop with a Hollywood ending of sorts. She turned the bumps in the road into a gateway for well-deserved wider recognition as an artist.
