Italian avant-garde artist Pietro Citteri, who goes by thes stage name Rosapolvere, is in full on nerd mode on his debut EP Dungeons & Drones, inspired by role-playing games and gothic fantasy novels. The four tracks explore the outer limits of harsh ambient electronics by way of old school synth wanderings.
Darkness prevails, but there is beauty hidden within the shadows, provided the listener is willing to give it his or hers undivided attention. Singer Dorthine's detached reading of a manual (Berserk as a Mork Borg module) will be the stuff of nightmares for some.
Dungeons & Drones is released on cassette via Harker Tapes.
