It can get a bit crowded when a band has three vocalists and songwriters. Or it can work out fine when they find a common ground, sharing a passion for power pop and three-part harmonies. Chicago quartet Falling Stars get it right on their Garden Variety EP, with three on point tracks that sound instantly familiar.
Their sunny side up optimism might come off as a bit naive right now, but keep in mind that it is was recorded before the shit hit the fan. Recommended if you like It's Karma It's Cool, Nick Frater, and Anton Barbeau.
Falling Stars:
Jeff Maharry: bass, vocals
Tim Majkowski: drums
Andy Mead: guitars, vocals
Mark Sheehy: guitars, vocals
