Swedish psych singer Miynt goes for an early 90s shoegaze vibe on her new single Blu-ray Land, meant to be as a tongue-in-cheek tribute to technology that is on its last legs (apparently she missed the resurgence of the discs as a carrier for ATMOS).
She sings softly, using the format as a metaphor for both crumbling relationships. Recommended if you like The Breeders. It is a track from her forthcoming new album Rain Money Dogs, due for release on May 30th via B3SCI Records.
Rain Money Dogs is available for pre-order here (vinyl, digital).
