Bristol based punk quartet Heavy Lungs turn it up all the way on their new album Caviar, getting through 11 songs in breathless succession, with the menacing Into The Fire as the only slow (well, sort of) song. These guys are angry as fuck, shouting at the heavens, bored out of their skull, and looking for kicks to get away from the daily grind.
Their take on a hard-hitting, dysfunctional kitchen sink drama from Hell is pictured as a way of life that is really intense, and most likely breaks all the rules of health and safety. No wonder Iggy Pop loves them.
Heavy Lungs:
Danny Nedelko: vocals
Oli Southgate: guitar
James Minchall: bass
George Garratt drums
